Informative post!

I agree that periodic maintenance is a must since it is cheaper than waiting for the time when your structure is totally damaged.

nice information in your website.....you appear to be a very dedicated person and someone that we need in the inspection business and someone that will and has made a difference in life. I inspect FHA properties in Ohio & PA and I enjoy reading and listening(learning) from other folks in the business. I do a ton of carbon monoxide testing and I work primarily now in the HVAC business.

I am a full time home inspector as well. Don't you just love some of the off the wall repairs you find? My favorite was a nerf football stuffed into a hole in the plenum of the HVAC unit!

What most people want to avoid is a dryer fire, annual cleaning's are a sure way to prevent a dryer fire from happening in your home or condo, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

If Your Dryer has a long run and has never been cleaned before, Call A Professional Dryer Vent Cleaner to clean your dryer vent.

I had this problem in my new apartment that had been left empty for a little while before I moved in. I followed the directions of my superintendent which were to run hot water from all the faucets until it ran cold and then a little longer. After I shut it off I waited about half an hour and then tried the hot water again and the smell was gone. He said I might need to try it more than once, but that was all it took.
